All of them have NOTHING on the ex-singer of my band...she was DREADFUL...screamed like a banshee and not in a good way, plus she liked crap music...
Fernando Ribeiro of Moonspell, now that is a pathetic excuse for vocals and the music is actually good minus this moron. Now lets not forget Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride either, again we have a case where the music works but his goddamn clean vocals make me cringe everytime.
agreed wholeheartedly. he has since developed lots of good breath control and range. and pitch. and the music he writes is beyond amazing. now if we could only get the guy to enunciate his freakin words...
Me too! I love Aaron's "clean" vocals! I've always thought of him as the only "death" singer who was actually able to pull off the shift to "clean" vocals.
I think the Labrie hire for DT was a big mistake, I compare it to when Maiden needed a new singer after their 2nd album and got Dickinson, with him they became one of the most popular bands in the world, if DT got a more distinctive singer, they might've become a much bigger band than they are now
~ No. I am not. When he sings, "Baby, baby, baby..." over and over a thousand times over, to me, it is like screeching of a chalkboard.
I agree he's not a very good singer, but he doesn't really try to do too much and his voice just seems to blend into the music. Maybe that is why I don't complain too much.
The guy from the first Haunted CD, it's not that his voice was so terrible, it just didn't fit the music AT ALL. Dani Filth is pretty annoying too, but I like the music.
Andi Deris of Helloween...his voice SUCKS!!!! It's like he swallowed sand and it got stuck in his throat. And his voice has no balls to it when he tries to go melodically.
