Dragon Force I don't mind them but yea, as every one says they sound "Nintendoish" Toto, a few christian bands. Some rap, rnb but they hardley get a listen, just something quite literally listened to once every few months lol.
I don't mind the butterfly effect, i saw them live earlier this year at Castle Hill RSL. Was a good gig and only cost me like $15 i think. Also had the best schnitzel of my life that night I'm a really big Bond fan, some might think thats embarrassing i spose
I am not embarrased of my love of these bands hence why they weren't part of my list. oh, I also don't mind Chicago.
The name of this thread is weird to me... half of the artists people are posting (Kyuss, Sisters of Mercy, Kate Bush, Queen, Elton John etc) I wouldn't consider "embarrassing" at all... I mean, is it just stuff that's not metal or rock?
In the past, and every once in a blue moon, the following might find their way into my CD player: Savage Garden Michael Jackson Sash/ Vengaboys
That is what it seems to be. I listen to a hell of a lot of non-metal stuff that I don't find embarrasing.
That's fucking hillarious. They look like a bunch of easy chicks (in a good, i find it hot, sort of way) headbanging to classical music in quite an unusually sexual manner.
I think 95% of people do, judging from this thread... which is a good thing! Who says metalheads aren't open minded? But I still suspect theres some embarrassing albums hidden deep inside a lot of peoples closets that we haven't heard about! Here's one from me... I once transcribed for guitar the song "Viva Forever" by the Spice Girls when my sister had the album. Common people!! Can anyone beat that???
Haha, i actually bought the phantom of the opera dvd and saw the live show in london last year. Amazing amazing stuff.
I didn't really enjoy the movie made about it but the live show was fucking amazing. I saw it when it was down in Australia quite a few years back and a friend told me recently that they are going to have it here again. My spider senses are tingling...
Theres been a few different on film adaptations of that over the years, of both the different versions... most are pretty sketchy in parts in either the singing or the acting or both...
I don't know if this is embarassing, but if you guys have ever heard a song called Linton Samuel Dawson by Porcupine Tree... that song is constantly on repeat. It's addictive.. and i don't know why! I mean it IS Porcupine Tree... but... just have a listen to it http://ergeal.ru/archive/mp3/Porcupine_Tree-Linton_Samuel_Dawson.mp3
