Albums I just bought over the past weekend:

Dawn Rider - Fate is Calling (Pt. 1) - this is actually pretty damn good.
Fairyland - The Fall of an Empire - I was certainly impressed with this
Balance of Power - Heathen Machine - friggan kick-ass!
Axenstar - The Final Requiem - Also an impressive piece of work
Mob Rules - Hallowed be Thy Name - another kick-ass disk! And holy shit did they totally kick ass at BAR Fest in San Francisco this past weekend!
Mob Rules - Temple of Two Suns - trying to fill out my Mob Rules back catalog
Emerald Sun - Escape From Twilight - I need to listen to this one again, as the first time through, I was kinda "meh".
Rush - Snakes & Arrows - A very nice effort by these long time veterans.

I went and checked out that "Genius" that I saw mentioned in another post on eMusic. From what I heard, I thought it was pretty cool. However, it did not seem to match that of the awesome Advantasia disks, though, nor that of any of the "Aryeon" disks either. Still worth the download from eMusic, though.

Some huge Edgar Poe book I found in the bargain bin at chapters, along with the hardcover Paradise Lost by John Milton.
