This goes against like literally everything you have ever said about basses.
It's not mine! Studio partner got it given to him. It's hanging around the studio for them pop-punk sessions. The EVH I'll be happy to admit ownership of though!
Bad photo, good guitar.
New Mesa cab
Nothing to write home about but I scored this for 130 euros. Who doesn't like a full tube 50w combo for that price?
Got an SE Electronics Space Reflexion Filter, RIP having to record vocalists with a duvet behind their head and other ghetto shit.
And nothing fancy, but this Evans Torque drum key is fucking ingenious, I highly recommend it anybody who records acoustic drums.
I saw that drum key on the Sam Pura CreativeLive stream. I wish I would have had that a long time ago
Don't know why, but now I have a Tele.
New Neck for my Warmoth build.
I didn't like the maple fretbord, so back to good old rosewood.
And Logic Pro X
Will post clips when it arrives
Also got a set of Sennheiser HD598
I've heard very good things about the Tight Metal. I know the dude from Misery Index uses one. I'm curious to hear those clips.
I've been using the tightmetal A LOT. They have a Pro version now that I wish I had for the extra EQ bands but the regular one is awesome you will like it.
Edit: Also try using a boost in front of it, works really nicely.
Pray for my bank account Sneap forum.
Which Duncan? the Jerry Donahue bridge in my Tele is such a blast to play, regardless of style. I honestly like it for metal in a very weird way.
Duncan is a 'hot for tele' more output than I was expecting, the pick attack is a loud pop.
The neck PU is a secondhand cheapy that is just beautiful glassy sounding thing. Lucked out there.
Wasn't too devastating but it's by far the most I've ever spent on one thing.
Bought one - love it...definetly will buy 1-2 more of these untis. Will try them against some UREI und UA stuff, but for this price it is just awesome!
Tom, how does this hold up with reflections coming from the room from behind the singer?
