Although I don't fully agree with the purpose of this post, due to the my belief that separating tracks from their intended place on the albums they are recorded disturbs the flow, especially on concept albums like SL and MAYH. I've never seen such heterogeneous 'favorites' lists when it comes to Opeth albums or songs!!! I don't refer to this thread, which is one among 10000000 of others, but it gets more obvious to me that trying to ask in an Opeth forum "which would be the best Opeth album to buy first" is a complete pointless task, which would not bring any helpful advice but the classic "buy them all!" I don't know anymore which is my favorite, nor my fav song, and it'd be painful for me to make a compilation. So, Manuel I suggest the following: write down in little pieces of paper the names of all Opeth songs from all albums. Fold them, mix them in a bag, throw them all in the air, catch about 8, 9 or 10 and burn them in a CD. This way your compilation will be surely the best around!!!!!!!!!!!
