All right, with all the wining about the set list for this tour, here's the thread for you to lay out your set list for the current tour. Here's the rules: 13 songs - that's what they're playing at every show so far with all four bands. You can put them in the order you'd want them played or not. At least three songs from Twilight of the Thunder God because this is the tour for that album and that's what they've been playing. Other than that, it's whatever you want. So have at it. And stick to the rules. Remember, this comes down to a lot of personal taste, so lets try to keep bashing each other's choices to a minimum. My set list in no particular order: Valhall Awaits Me Twilight of the Thunder God Death in Fire Pursuit of Vikings Victorious March An Ancient Sign of Coming Storm Gods of War Arise No Fear for the Setting Sun Free Will Sacrifice Masters of War Bleed for Ancient Gods Sound of Eight Hooves Burning Creation Not actually my 13 favourite songs, but the 13 I most want to experience live.
the people who attented are not allowed to participate one of the members might see this, and they would like to see the setlist that people like to hear for there UPCOMEING dates anyway i'll post mine tomorrow
Haha ok. Here's mine: *. Intro 1. Twilight of the Thunder God 2. Free Will Sacrifice 3. North Sea Storm 4. Thousand Years of Oppression 5. Live For The Kill 6. Varyags of Miklagaard 7. Guardians of Asgaard 8. Runes to My Memory 9. Tattered Banners and Bloody Flags 10. Amon Amarth 11. Where is Your God? 12. Prediction of Warfare 13. Pursuit of Vikings (only because of how insane the crowd goes, and it leaves you wanting more) *. New Outro I put in most of the songs from the new album because that's what this tour is about. If it was just a random concert the setlist would be different.
Um...no. I started this thread and I was at the show last night. It doesn't matter if you've seen a show on the tour or not. This is about the difference between what the band has chosen and what we as individual fans would have chosen if it were up to us. Like I said in another thread, the only way they could ensure all of us were happy with the set list is if they played every song they've recorded.
Quote Amon Amarth: "We've had plans of doing a smaller club show tour for quite some time now where we'd mainly play older songs, but that has been very hard to pull off. So when this idea was brought to us of re-visiting the 4 first full lenght albums at Bochum in Germany we were all up for it. This will be a once in a life time chance for us to play and our fans to experience all the old songs that we don't have room for in the setlist anymore, but are still too good to not play! And of course we also will play songs from our new upcoming album. Since these shows will be unique we thought we'd might as well record the shows too! We're thrilled over this event and look forward to the shows. It will be some hard work and preparation playing around 50 -60 different songs in 4 days. Some songs we haven't played for a very, very long time and some we've never played live at all. But challenges are something that encourages us!" See you all there!
