I always thought your name was from the Nick Drake song Parasite. Oh, and I did know your name was ChokingParasite at one point, but I guess I wasnt here for when you explained it. Mine was created because it was kind of a nick name (or a set of, I should say) a friend of mine and I had. I used because I thought it would be hilarious. Mine was and is Furious B and his was (is) The D 1000. Furthermore, like the day after I registered I remembered that the horse that Bart races on The Simpsons (with the Mohawk and piercings and all that) is named Furious D. Strange.

A great guitarist is different from a great musician. A great musician can write beautiful compositions. A great guitarist (alexi) can wank faster than anyone. Oh, and don't give me this shit about "not understanding keyboards". That comment gives you the "preassumption by a fucking 15 year old of the week" award.
hmm lets see... Mike Romeo, fantastic guitar player, writes terrible songs. I dont like that power metal double bass snare crap in every single song, its old, tired and annoying. Symphony X shine when they write songs like the Accolade, Odyssey title track, and Candlelight Fantasia, not when their too busy ripping off mid 80s Malmsteen/Graham Bonnet songs. Now, now COB. Alexi Laiho is an OK guitar player when hes not busy, again, ripping off Yngwie (seems like a recurring theme with most of these bands) His riffs are stale galloping all over that open D chord (they are tuned a whole step down) The riffs are boring, the vocals are atrocious, the bass player is stale. They masquerade as a melo death band, when they are power metal in disguise. The music has little variation, the music is formulatic and boring. The only thing Bodom does to me, is make me jump around like a leprechaun and remmenise about my NES when I was 8 yrs old. Alexis solos the best in the style of music he plays, Ill give him that, but its a style of metal I so greatly detest.

Definately a cool song. Im sounding too much like an elitist snob, Im really not, well maybe a lil. Im all about being tolerant of what people listen to. My gf is obsessed with CoB, and I joke with her all the time, its all good. I just dont like when people come after me because of my opinions on things, thats all. Makes me turn into Captain Asshole.
