My guess is that you multiply each of those "prices" by a thousand and you're in the ballpark of the real price.

Which is why I jumped on Helloween and Nightwish at $10... Red Circuit seemed a steal at $2, as well, and were the only repeats from this past year's festival. That is the only thing that kept Tyr off my roster - price.

I wish.

Thinking it is more along the lines of: 10$ band is the most expensive you can get for this concert, everything else keys off of that.

So, (grading on the curve) if NightWish had a booking fee of 30K and Evergrey had a booking fee of 28k, NightWish is $10 and Evergrey is 9.

Following this logic, bands like DT would never be on the list because they would cost 20 or 25 bucks.

Prototype (who KILLED when they played before PPIV) is only a dollar, because they cost almost nothing in comparison to NightWish. I should have had them higher on my roster, but you gotta be fair to the more established groups.

A purpose of my layout is that if you have Ihsahn, you also technically have Leprous, and why not take advantage of this? Don't have Leprous play both times on the same night, split it up. And if you bring in DTP/DTB, you have Ihsahn available to do guest vocals on "Juular". I have noticed that live guest vocals are incredibly popular and go over VERY well, especially when it is Ihsahn in question.

Leprous are high on this list as a secondary headliner given the massively positive reaction of "Bilateral". They are rapidly gaining popularity, and at this rate, if you did this same game next year, I would estimate Leprous' "value" as a $6-7 band.
