No, points should be distributed according to rank, just like everyone else. I do it to give some context to how high of esteem I hold the album. For example, Suffocation's Pierced From Within was #10 for 1995, but is an A- album while the #10 album for 1983 is a B- album.

Also, not really comparable but I rate Court in the Act much more highly than Pierced from Within.

No I meant I still voted for Melissa because it has strength of composition. It's #5 on my list even though I don't like the vocals.

No. Ride the Lightning is the only Metallica that even comes close to the glory of Melissa. But my general distaste for Metallica has been discussed enough on this board.

I like Master of Puppets, but it has nothing on Melissa to me. Master of Puppets is too inconsistent and masturbatory to compete with an album like Melissa.

I don't hate Metallica or anything (any of the following three would probably make my top 10 for that year) but I can barely even remember any song from KeA after the first three. And The Four Horsemen I just find really lethargic and overlong after hearing Mustaine's version.
