RIVERSIDE - Shrine Of New Generation Slaves

The new disc is now on Spotify. I like it so far. Definitely more mellow than ADHD.

RIVERSIDE - Shrine Of New Generation Slaves

Hisingen Blues never really clicked with me but I think Lights Out is an excellent disc. Lights Out and Legend are both top 10 discs for me this year.

RIVERSIDE - Shrine Of New Generation Slaves

Riverside has added some U.S. tour dates to the list on their site. I don't know if there will be more shows added or not. I will definitely be at the Chicago show! Riverside home page 2013-04-30 The WindJammer, Isle of Palms | Charleston, South Carolina, US 2013-05-02 Vinyl @ Centerstage...

I can't stop listening to the new Graveyard disc. The new Witchcraft disc is also very good.

To be fair, the song posted on Sound Cloud is the radio edit. The full song is 6:47 in length. I can't wait to hear the rest of the disc.

matt barlow unretires again from iced earth

Eh, I don't know that I agree with that, but I will accept the logic of how you are arriving at that conclusion. So, what about Promised Land do you think lends itself to the "we are trying to go platinum again" argument? There is not much on that disc that would attract main stream radio...

So, you know which bands are "trying to go platinum" and which aren't? Interesting. Anytime a band changes their style there will be people who whine about "selling out." I won't bore you with examples. Some fans will stay with the band and some won't. Not all bands are going to be like AC/DC...

You ramble on like your opinion is "the cold hard truth" and then call people names when they disagree. Where is the logic in that?

matt barlow unretires again from iced earth

 Your previous post had no basis in fact. It is just your opinion.

So everything is defined by radio hits now? You are the first person I have ever seen make the "sell out to the alt rock crowd" comment. All of their CD's are stylistically different, including their early discs. But that does not support your alt rock claims. :err:

No. Yes. And, no. Not even close. (Except the part about Evergrey. That part is probably true.)
