It seems like being heavy is the new wave of prog metal. Although new Symphony X is great as the new DT, prog metal seems to be steering away from being flat out progressive. Yes, there are still a ton of bands doing it (Suspyre, Heart Of Sun, etc....) but it seems prog metal bands are leaning...

......"Snakes and Arrows" was well worth the wait. I spun it once only and it reminds me of "Hemispheres" meets "Counterparts"......the boys delivered the goods, more to come the more I listen.:kickass:

.....Connecticut metal band Sacred Oath have recorded their second cd after nearly 20 years. The cd called "Darkness Visible" will be released April 17 through Sentinel Steel records. This cd vibes Mercyful Fate and old Maiden without sounding dated. Sacred Oath features Rob "Thorne" Volpintesta...

I remember a cd was supposed to be recorded with these 3 singers called "The Three Tremors", anyone recall this?
