I think it is a great addition. While not my favorite fem fronted metal band, they do sound good. I saw them live a couple of years ago and they did fine. And adding another female element to the festival is a good thing in my book. :rock:

Highlight of the weekend. The band was spot on and delivered the goods. Jarzombek was amazing. It was great hearing Jim and Frank on those harmonies. :rock:

I have attended every ProgPower and will be attending PP X. :rock: I first heard about it on the old PM board, and then emailed Glenn H. about the festival. The first was amazing, even thought the venue was dinky and funky. My favorite ProgPower was number 4. :kickass:

Yes, I've seen them live 5 times over the years. Great live band, and they rock mightily. My fave show was when they opened for Dream Theater on the Awake tour. Fates had their best lineup, and they smoked the place.

Glenn, it's not cool that you have to go through this crap. But it's no problem for me as a fan of the festival. I expect the unexpected, and you filled the slots nicely. :rock: Hang in there bro! :kickass:

Great review. I got my copy from Laser's Edge this week. The new album ... smokes! :rock: ZH keeps getting better and better. I will post a review when I get a free moment from spinning it ... again and again and again.

Riverside is one of my favorite prog-rock bands, as is Porcupine Tree. To me, Riverside sounds like they have been influenced a great deal by Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Tool, Muse, and classic prog-rock bands. Yet they have their own style. I love all their albums, and they can rock out fully, and...

I totally agree. Pagan's Mind was THE highlight of the weekend (along with the other highlights; After Forever, FK, Redemption, and Threshold). Nils is a great singer. Jorn Viggo is a real guitar god. He is absolutely amazing and incredibly versatile. And the whole band just smokes! I...
