Wearing Scars (for fans of great melodic heavy metal)

I'm not really sure exactly what genre this is in, but its melodic and its heavy, anyway it sounds great. Ex-Mutiny Within's Chris Clancy is on lead vocals. Super catchy stuff.

    New Paradise Lost song

This definitely harkens back to their earlier albums. I think its fantastic.

Native Construct - Eclectic Prog metal for fans of Haken

To me, they sound similar to Between the Buried and Me, without the randomness for random's sake, and more symphonic and jazz elements. Sounds good so far, especially if they keep up with the more jazz elements throughout the album.

    Alkaloid - Tech/prog/death

This is pretty good, though when it comes to death metal, I prefer no clean vocals to be honest. Though I don't mind it there. I'll have to listen to more.

KAMELOT 2015 - New Album "HAVEN"

    That would've been rad

    NIGHTWISH: Endless Forms Most Beautiful

The song is white noise to me musically, though Floor's voice is great as usual. I do hope they change it up within the other songs compared to their previous couple albums.

Raunchy ( dumb name but great melodic death metal)

For fans of Amaranthe and Soilwork, check this out. Mike from the band Intervals is the frontman in this Denmark melodic DM band. I'm not a fan of their band name, but the music kicks a ton of ass. From their new album "Vices. Virtues. Visions."...

New Amaranthe Album "Massive Addictive" out Oct. 21

I feel sorta indifferent to the song. It doesn't do anything for me, the chorus is catchy enough I guess.

I really hope they'll tour NA with this album!

Ne Obliviscaris's album Citadel out November 7th!

I am beyond stoked for this album, the track they dropped a couple days ago, is a shorter song, but kicks so much ass. If this is just a taste of what is to come, then I think I peed my pants a little. "Painters Of The Tempest Part II, movement III: 'Curator"...

Mary's Blood - All girl Japanese shred metal!

I think when bands are marketed as "LOOK AT THIS BAND THEY ARE FEMALE FRONTED," they're trying to hard and it just annoys me. It's about the music, I could give a shit about who is in the band, as long as they're trying their best and putting out great music. Mary's Blood sounds pretty good, I...

Listen to what you like and enjoy, not what you feel obligated to listen to because you consider yourself a "metalhead" or some lame made up title.

    Thoughts on the new DRAGONFORCE...

Tomorrow's King and City of Gold are my favorite tracks so far. The choruses through out the whole CD are the strongest parts of this album, I'd say. I think its a pretty solid release, not sure if its as catchy as The Power Within. The only downside is their cover of Ring of Fire, it was sort...

    New Cannibal Corpse Track

Love the bass in the mix. Very punchy and thrashy overall, good stuff.
