    Metal Guitarists that use Light Strings?

    I'm curious as to who plays Metal (Doom, Death, MDM) that don't use heavy strings, or light top-heavy bottom strings. I know some shredders like Malmsteen use light sets but what about Metal guitarists?

    I'm an old school metal guy (age 59) but I'm also into modern stuff. Multi instrumentalist and my main focus right now is original Melodic Death Metal, main influences are Children Of Bodom, Dark Tranquility and Mors Principium Est. I also love some good Doom bands.
