Absolutely stunned by this news. One of my favorite bands I've discovered through this forum over the past 5 years. This is just terrible.
Rest in Peace, Steve.
Yeah, I read somewhere that he's already looking for new locations and wanted to bring it back. I never made it over there from the Triangle but they did seem to get a lot of good shows.
The Volume 11 tavern in Raleigh is starting to get a lot of shows like PaganFest coming through so that...
Yep, I'll be making the trek from Raleigh. Can't wait.
FatesFan, bought my tix this morning using eTix and it said I was the 289 ticket but I'd imagine it'll be somewhere between 250-350 there.
Checked the website and it says the place can hold up to 1000 but I've been there before and I...
Went for 2 reasons, Threshold and Vanden Plas. Obviously, the VP situation didn't work itself out, but Threshold's set was pretty damn special.
I liked Damian's voice but I'd be kidding you if I didn't say I missed Mac. That said, the only other issue I had was a little too much dead time...
Does anybody know if they are going to push the start time back for the other three bands? I'm about to leave from Raleigh and it would help me with pacing myself on the trip.
Thank God the new album is a double album. See the news section of eaglesband.com for more details. I mean, for not doing an album for eons,...at least they did the right thing and gave us two albums worth of material the first time back.

Just saw this over on the Bravewords site:

Guitarist Steve Smyth's site has been updated with the following:
Guitarist Steve Smyth has officially parted ways with NEVERMORE, citing...
"There is also a theater in Durham, where Ian Anderson and a few have played solo, though I have heard little of it in the past few years so do not even know if its around."
I think the one you are referring to is the Carolina Theatre in Durham. Very nice place to see a show, have some Jazz...
One other thing I forgot to mention to the newbie's:
You drive around a LOT in the Triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill) and nothing fun to do ever really seems close.
With that said,...it IS a nice place to live (Not today at 104 degrees and heat index of 111) but usually it's nice.
Also...
Sorry, Mosquito, had to do this,...
You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish!" - REO reference.
Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week,...ba dum, dum.

Btw, Try the waitress and tip the veal.
True, Jaxx is in the DC area, forgot about that. Don't usually head in that direction for shows but you're right, the option is there.
There's probably options for Richmond too, but I'm not really sure what they are.
I was there at the LC & WT show and had a great time. Missed LC (saw 'em at...
Not a whole lot of metal venues here in the Raleigh Area that I'm aware of.
You have Volume 11 Tavern - http://myspace.com/volume11tavern
Lincoln Theatre - http://www.lincolntheatre.com
Jester's Pub is in Fayetteville and they usually get some good acts there.
In Winston-Salem, Queensryche...
After skimming through this thread, I haven't seen this question raised yet.
Will Damian be covering the songs Mac was going to sing in the All-Star Jam or is he selecting his own?
I'd assume he'll select his own but you know what happens when you assume,...lol.
Da Pup.
Just wanted to ask the forum if anyone new of a reliable site to get some cool screensavers.
Looking for Kamelot, Threshold, Vanden Plas, Primal Fear, etc.
Thanks,
Da Pup
