I used Cdbaby and Bandcamp.com to release my Bishop Lake EP. Cdbaby has a decent payout, but Bandcamp was by far the best. Not that I have sold that many downloads, but it's nice to make a few bucks, and be able to trace it. I am self publishing my stuff, makes more sense.

This is probably the best explanation of why they aren't bigger here. Hardcore fans are awesome, however there aren't enough to pay for a full tour.

I think that every release since All For You has been brilliant. This just adds on to his ever increasingly awesome catalogue. IMO :)

A lot of times, and I can't say this is the case for every record label out there, but a "veteran" musician, who had recorded and toured quite a bit, explained how it had worked for him. That he would do an album, the label would rake in dough on sales to chain stores, and whatever percentage...

I really enjoyed it from start to finish. At the end of the day, i'm sure this release is nothing groundbreaking, but I do think the songwriting is far more solid than Geoff Tate's album, and the production is way better as well. "Spore" is my favorite thus far. It's the first Queensryche album...

Tatoo really grew on me, plus Roth just writes the best lyrics in the world. The song is great for the lyircs alone , IMO. :)

Jesse did the Times of Grace disc with Adam D. and was incredible. I loved Howard, and I don't like Jesse's performance on AOJB, but he has matured so i think he will bring them up even further now. Hope Howard keeps doing music though. He was a great frontman.

sad thing is, is that if Halcyon Way was booked for only 1.00, that would be more than most promoters are willing to pay, hehe ( i kid i kid, or maybe i don't ;)

After 15 years in and out of small time touring acts, I can with all sincerity say, that money DOES buy the experience, and that there is no such thing as a free tour. hehe You wouldn't believe the shitholes I had to "pay to play" in, ahh the memories..................

I would love to do this, I used to nail "The Final Countdown" at Metalsome Karaoke here in Atlanta. I would LOVE to do Welcome Home by KD though. :)
