yeah the idea is rather cool! I have some collections already filled with mp3s form various sites /(like mp3.com) and - jep, thats a great idea to get into new bands .. I never bought more CDs (original ...) than since I do the "check-new-band-by-mp3" thing hehehe
For I have a CD writer and some CDs:
all of maiden
all of metallica (girlfriend)
all Bruce Dickinson
4 NM
3 Opeth
3 In Flames
Jag PAnzer, Halloween, Blind Guardian, Beseech, Angel Dust, Death, Cemetary, Sabbath and so on
I would make a list of ém all and distribute per mail
k, i dont make copies of them for this is illegal and especially the bands we´re listening too (except metallica) need the money! but sampler and so np

hehe - I have nothing from therion (yes, don´t shoot me) and really like to hear something from them and others, lotsa others ))
