Criticise the hell out of this mix.

In my opinion, my best mix to date. Want to know what you guys think of it!

It's a cover of Northlane's "Dispossession". Not recorded by me, found the stems on a forum. Uses Podfarm 2.5 and Recabinet 3 for guitars and bass, and SSD 4 for drums. Besides those plugins, only Pro Tools stock plugins (stock EQ, stock Compressor, stock Maximizer etc!)

Decent mix, personally not a fan of guitars tuned that low. The mix has this harshness to it, especially the guitars. Maybe try something like NLS, Kramer MPX - there are a million inexpensive plugins that do the same thing so just choose one you like! The drums could do with a little more room, but the kick's low end is good! Very focused and punchy.

First of all I fucking love Northlane! I like the tone and would be interested on how you did it. My crit would be your kick though. In my opinion it is a little loud/upfrontish. I feel it needs to sit behind the guitar if that makes sense at all... But rad mix overall!

great mix man! kick sounds digital to me.. :S
