The Spanish Flamenco great passed away from an apparent heart attack in Mexico. Rest in peace Paco and thanks for all the music...

Only had the pleasure of seeing him once - with John McLaughlin, Al DiMeola and Steve Morse. Beacon Theater, NYC in 1983 I believe.

One of the greats, for sure. Saw him in the 80's, blew me away.
