Speaker cable question

Hi
Can I use a speaker cable as an instrument cable, for example between guitar and tubescreamer or between tubescreamer and amp?
If I connect a speaker cable from amp to pc, could I damage something?

Since the speakercable isn't shielded it will probably hum like crazy.
It works theoretically but it doesn't sound that good IMO.

Regarding amp to PC it depends on what you mean, connecting speaker out to the PC is a big No-No

No no I use impulses of course. I asked this because I wanna try my metalzone as a boost but I need 1 more cable. I have this speaker cable and I wasn't shure about the use as an instrument cable.

No no!! the speaker cable have no shield, use it only for speaker.........
