The new Emperor album is amazing.

God, I didn't know there was a new album. Is it already released, or will it be released, and when? I just stumbled upon Emperor's split album with eslaved, and I was blown away. I seem to like their earlier stuff, esp. Anthems, but I'm damn curious about this now...

I've had the promo for a while, but I just can't get into it. I don't know what I'm missing. After a while it just seems to blend together. I've never been a big emperor fan to begin with, so that probably has something to do with it.

I lost my Meisterwerk 2 CD for 'bride. I left the CD in a random computer in university. I can't get into that band. There are parts of their music that I like and parts that annoy me. But I'm going thru a major Emperor phase at the moment, and apart from seeing that band picture that looks like it's directly from the "Matrix" I'm really looking forward to vbuying this album. But can someone explain to me why IX equilibrium just doesn't catch me, where Anthems is their best so far?
