Yes a shame indeed. Where is it brewed these days? I think it went to Wales after the Manchester plant closed, but I believe it has now moved again.


How about a pint of Thwaites by the way? Fond memories of that brew from my days in Preston / Blackburn.
 
Either your family is enormous, or you had the whole town over. Very impressive spread.
A Belgian friend of mine recently had me try an amber beer called Kwak. Delicious stuff.
