I much prefer the Leffe Brune (Brown). And the Leffe Brune is much better in draft than in bottle. Maybe my favorite beer of all time! Bon appetit!

Yes a shame indeed. Where is it brewed these days? I think it went to Wales after the Manchester plant closed, but I believe it has now moved again.


How about a pint of Thwaites by the way? Fond memories of that brew from my days in Preston / Blackburn.

A Belgian friend of mine recently had me try an amber beer called Kwak. Delicious stuff.
