I was listening to Evergrey "Recreation Day" while driving home from Detroit last weekend.

Funny, I stopped reading after you said "Evergrey."

Wow, the same exact thing happened to me while I was driving to a show at the PNC Arts Center on a Jersey Highway. I was listening to Opeth's "The Grand Conjuration" and there was a raging thunderstorm that was in perfect synchronization with the heavy riffing parts of the song. It was very cool, but the lightning was so intense and close that it was nearly impossible to drive over 30 MPH on the highway.

Heh... believe me... that's nowhere near the strangest thing that's happened on a Jersey highway.... :zombie: uke:

Actually I hear a strong Kansas influence in their music, but
that's there in Dream Theater and Symphony X as well so it
may be secondary...
