Fans of symphonic, bombastic orchestrated metal with female fronted vocals take note of Whyzdom. This French band takes the a page out of NIghtwish's book with some choir vocals that would make Therion fans proud and while they aren't quite in the same league they've put together a pretty good effort on their 3rd release.
Marie Rouyer Mezzo-soprano voice is on full display on Waking Up The Titans and the effort on Lets Play With Fire and Dont Try to Blind Me Are noteworthy as well as the two opening tracks on the CD.
THis isn't going to make anyone forget about Endless Forms Most Beautiful but it will give them other options if you want to hear a strong contender in the Symphonic Metal arena
