I have been urning for some good rock and roll, and I can't seem to find anything good, and I assume that if people know their metal then they will know their rock. I enjoy the usuals, Led Zepplin, Tool, Alice in Chains, and Deep Purple.

Thanks for your time.

I've been listening the hell out of Porcupine Tree lately. Two albums in particular: "In Absentia" and "Deadwing." Same with the Avenged Sevenfold album "City of Evil" - kicks ass.

Do you know band called rainbow.

Yeah, good call. Enjoy Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thin Lizzy, Rainbow and the like myself. AC/DC I guess are classic rock, and their stuff is great, particularly when "partying", as we say in the fenland ghetto.

All of Porcupine Tree's albums are good.

You've probably heard it, but Boston - s/t is an outstanding rock album. All 8 tracks are radio regulars.

Rush is always a good bet. They don't seem to sound as dated as many bands do.

Recent Katatonia and Amorphis albums are rock/hard rock. You might like those.
