I checked all the threads here and havent found any about folk music ... ;) I like folk music, specially Irish and Scandinavian folk but since it's not so 'popular' here I can't find too much albums. Fortunately the Norwegian embassy has a cd libary and I've already found some interesting cd...

Since I'm Hungarian it's obvious i start a thread fom Hungarian bands. ;) I wonder how many of you know them or just heard about our bands? I mention some name those might be know outside the country: Sear Bliss, Gutted, Neural Booster, Tormentor, Ektomorf, Blind Myself, Without Face ...etc...

Unfortunately only a few Greek bands are (well) known outside of their homecountry. I know only 2 or maybe 3, but I'm sure more bands are out there. So, Greek metalheads, let us know what is the metal scene in Greece like, tell us about bands, clubs, .... anything related to metal :rock...

I wonder what means a fan for you? Is it somebody who buys every release from a band or somebody who knows every little details about the band and its members, or somebody who wears band's T-shirt or somebody who just likes that band and their music.. when you say ' I'm a fan of ... band' what...

I think this Finnish band is great. I would like to hear your opinions on the band, ... everything about them or concerning to them /favourite And Oceans albums, songs, lyrics, concert memories... everything that comes to your mind when you hear the name ...And Oceans :cool:
