Also, someone said something about the picture not being a v30 and it was dented. The image isn't the actual speaker sampled. We like the rugged look. I think it looks cool *shrugs*.
Btw, all of these clips I've been making are with reverence. I have noticed that impulses sound different with different loaders. It might be worth comparing on a different impulse loader!
Well, not sure what happened in the video (although I can hear the difference just fine here). Did you watch in 1080p?
Hope the mp3's shed some light for some doubters.
Switched mics on this example, I'm pretty sure ours wins!

here it is with an i5 4x12 on axis...
The "other" competitor impulse has too much boomy-ness and lots of nasty 4k garbage. Something you might not be listening for, but I will admit our comparison is probably a bit on the advanced side of the fence... At any rate, I would never use the "other" competitor impulse in a mix because...
Honestly, I am trying to become more "mutt lange" in terms of publicity because there's just too many opinions and too much drama to deal with every day.

We always try to match the strings to the tuning. I typically use whatever the band is sponsored by but if not, then ernie ball (hey ernie ball, hit me up! lets do this both ways!).
for bass, I enjoy blue steel. Secret weapon.
When I am choosing to edit / move something, I move the start of the wav form. Once that is lined up to where I want it, then I trim left end (revealing more of the pick attack). Pick attack is meant to be early or ahead of the beat, if you ask me. With drums its pretty much the same thing...
I def intend to put up a lot of new stuff, its just hard to find time to do it. I am currently working on getting it all done though. There are some really special products coming soon.
