I bought the Authentic Reaper stuff for my Kemper back when it got released and it's definitely the best out of all of the GP-1000 profiles I've tried. Going to hopefully profile my GP-1000/SP-1000 rig in the next few weeks and I'll share it with anyone on the forum who is interested in it.

Yes! That person sells Kemper/Quad Cortex packs made up of the emulations he made with Alexi's gear through his own website called Authentic Reaper. I picked up the ones for Kemper and he goes really in depth on all the aspects of Alexi's rig, even the MM-04 that's in Alexi's guitar that he owns.

If my memory serves me right, there's a very common mod where you switch out a capacitor and a resistor and it adds a touch more gain and smoothes out the treble a little bit. This was a common mod to the GP-1000's even back in the 90's by Lee Jackson himself, but I know Alexi had his GP-1000...

The ABQ definitely has more gain on tap than the MM-04 and has more low end, for sure. I would have to attribute that to Alexi always saying he wanted more low end and more gain out of his tones and that was one reason why he veered away from the GP1000, even after they were modded on AYDY...
