This band is for those that like their black metal a bit 'out there.' Hailing from the UK, the band mixes a variety of styles into the album. Besides the bm, the band uses keyboards, violins, flutes and clean vocals. All of the tracks are long and take their time in developing. It's amazing that this is their first album considering the scope of these songs (see the first track). For comparisons to other bands i'll throw out; negura bunget (some of the riffing reminds me of them) ,ludicra, solefald, (for sheer weirdness), dornenreich (the vocals) Here's another review i did: http://www.last.fm/user/spikes52/journal/2008/04/21/705895/

Hm, I'll try it in spite of the comparison to a Silver Mt. Zion. ASMZ has truly horrific vocals
