A little question about mono and stereo

Basically, the motherboard that i bought came with a free 6 month premium membership of a game streaming software. The problem is that there are no options to change the mic settings to mono. My mic is only audible on the left side during the stream.
Even the 2i2 dont seem to have that setting available. My idea is to get a cheap mixer, pan it to 50% right and send the stereo output to my audio interface input 1 and 2. Will that work to make it sound center?

Microphones are usually mono so when you plug them in to a stereo source you get sound from the left speaker. How do you connect the mic to the computer? You mention 'audio interface input 1 and 2'. You may need to get a splitter jack if the mic has a small jack. So the mic connects on the single lead then splits in to 2 which you put in to inputs 1 and 2.
