Advice about guitars for modern DM

I did search, couldn't find anything that answered my question, sorry if there was.

Basically I'm looking for a tight as fuck sounding guitar with EMG's, with playability being key. up to around £700
I was planning on getting a BC rich calibre warlock, but they are discontinued.

So I've been thinking of these as contenders;

Although from what I've heard (on record and from reputation) the ltd is probably the best sounding, I reckon the other two probably stump it on playability?
And the d-activator on the Xiphos could be swapped out for an EMG no problem.
The one I am least sure about is the warrior.


If anyone has an horror stories about any of them, or alternative suggestions, do tell.

I remember reading a post on the Ibanez forms concerning some quality control issues on the Xiphos line. Might be worth looking up if you plan on buying one.

I love my ec1000. btw, if you want to get the laquer finish instead of the satin, you can save 90€

Yeah I mean from what I've heard it's pretty much unbeatable all round for the price, amirite?

I would definitely get the satin, all of the ones I've seen in shops look phenomenal
plus I really dislike the binding on the other ones, the seashell type effect

LTD EC 1000 and Jackson wrmg are equivalent in quality.
