Deep House

Anybody here a fan of Deep House? I've been listening religiously to the Deeper Shades of House podcasts by Lars Behrenroth for several months now (you can get them for free on itunes or on deepershades.net).

Anyway even though it might be monotonous and have that "elevator" feel, I can't get enough of it! I love dissonant tones and that feeling of "distance" in the music.

Deep House and Dub/minimal Techno is where it's at



although I haven't heard a great deal of stuff I'd indentify as "deep house", mostly just dub techno stuff although I feel the lines between the subgenres are quite blurred.

Some minimal dark techno is great. Deep house however is gay.
