Too bad. Ian (Dolamite S. Biffle) said that when Manilla Road headlined the KC Power Metal fest or whatever it was, there were only like 40-50 ppl. What the fuck, man? Sucks, honestly. Not enough of a draw for the Suicide Silence/Black Dahlia Murder fans. They just don't care.

Again it is the way these things are promoted. Everyone says traditional and cult has no draw and that maybe true, but no one mentions how poorly these shows are promoted.
I think these shows rely on an "under ground" word of mouth thing, well that just doesn't work.
Also mid-west is not an area that can be compared to the north east, obviously there is more potential to draw in the Maryland, NY, Jersey area than in KS.
