Support is taking forever to get back to me so ill just post here and see if anyone knows. I'm looking to buy some here soon but I've noticed that on sweetwater it has the main driver listed at 7.1". Yet practically everywhere else says its an 8". Is this a difference in generation or are some of these sites wrong? If there is a 7.1 version I'm considering that model for the fact that I'm in a small room. But I don't want to buy an older version because I've heard about hiss issues and so on.

Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this, help a brother out.

Pretty sure there is only one model of these Events. I think It's pretty common for company's to round up on speaker size though. It's kinda like telling a girl your dick is 8" instead of 7.1".

then again, why would you tell a girl your dick size at all, just ram it down her throat :p
