Favourite technical/brutal death metal bands?

How do you mess with them? Does not their balless nature prevent you from figuring out who they are, and thus, prevent you from messing with them?

I am not a fan of straight ("brutal") death metal it is too much grindcore, and I hate that. Once you change it up a little, such as melodic or progressive death bands and such, then I can get into it.
