Good Bass guitar amp sim?

I have used the ampeg one which is ok , same with the studio devil one . I can't seem to ever make them sound good souly on their own. Guess if you sat with them you could get a great tone. My mate did a track with a Jazz bass which was split into a sansamp RBI with a bit of grit dialled in and then the ampeg plug blended. Sounded pretty cool.
I'm gonna try sansamp and then clean DI with an impulse and maybe the TSS as bass is always a sod to get killer good. I think there is the Ronald Passion ampegy type plug out soon?

I use the amplitube ampeg one. Does well enough for the tones I need. I use it with an ampeg cab impulse that I think I found on this forum or the ultimate guitar modelling forum.

I copy the bass to another track and run a fairly high high pass and then run a sansamp on that one and blend the two.

I've used the Ampeg one, and it really is an amazing ampsim, you get such a nice warm and clear tone from it

I like to use Amepg for my sub-bass and middy bass tracks, and TSE X30 for the grind/grit in the tone.

I thought you were talking about a real sans-amp pedal I'll have to test NoAmp out later today, it might be better than X30 for grit.

Do a google search for "noamp vst" and you will find it Its a model of the sans-amp pedal.

NoAmp - sansamp pedal sim... tip for bass... cut below 500hz otherwise its just too fuzzy

I actually don't mind ampeg one or whatever it is. Pretty sweet little freebee. I've been useing a hardware bass pre though.

Whenever I load noamp I just get a loud feedback :s any tips?
