My band is calling it quits and so we figured we would have some fun with an old super generic song we wrote before we move on with things.

Sooooooooo what sounds like poop on your end? Vocals are killing me in particular.

Well the vocals do not fit this at all.
Guitar sound could use some sculpting or even a change.

Overall balance is pretty good though.

Thanks man. Ironically one of the only things I actually like so far, is the guitar sound lol Not perfect by any means but it seems pretty tame to me. What would you suggest?

Also, what do you mean the vocals don't fit? Like the style or the piss poor mixing lol cause I flat out suck with vox. Always just doing instrumentals. Doesn't help that my mixing space is garbage. Pretty hard to hear what im actually doing while processing. Any suggestions for vocals then?

It's not bad by any means, just a bit of EQ will make it better.

And I meant the vocal processing, they sound really out of context.
Good compressing, EQ and saturation will get you there.
