Need to be less than £300.

GLASGOW (or other Scottish airport or Manchester) - CHICAGO on the 4th October.

And on the way back ATLANTA - GLASGOW (or other Scottish airport) on the 7th.


I'm from the UK. Also, can anyone fill me in on VISAS to visit America and the likes? It's my first time coming abroad alone.

As far as I know, you should only need a passport.

I've always liked www.hotwire.com and www.travelocity.com, but I'm not sure how well they work when your origin city is out of the U.S....

You can travel to the States for up to 90 days as a tourist with the visa waiver program. Theres only certain countries that this allows for and the UK is one of them. I know because Im doing the same thing from Australia. This website might help you. Cheers.

Thanks very much folks! Mel, great link, helpful I'll have a look around. I found flights from Dublin - Chicago on AerLingus for £250...not bad, Don't think I'll beat that!
