How about TNT?

I know most prefer Tell No Tales, but I prefer their 2nd album...Knights of the New Thunder

The first couple with Mills were awful.

I whole-heartedly disagree, you should revisit them (The New Territory, Atlantis, and A Farewell To Arms). There's a really positive upbeat sound on these albums, with a pop/catchy vibe not heard on previous TNT releases. Tons of Beatles influence. In some respects, I like these albums more than the Tony Harnell era. I am hoping that they don't go back to the long drawn-out ballady stuff they did a lot with Harnell. I want upbeat, high energy stuff.

I would love to see them, especially with them doing Intuition in its entirety recently. This is just pure speculation on my part, but I am guessing their asking price is quite high, given some of the places I see them playing.

I love that album. I thought it was generally well thought of among fans, unlike something like Firefly which generally splits fans quite a bit. I think it is right up there with Intuition as my favorite by them.

Indian Summer and Purple Mountain's Majesty are two of my favorite songs by TNT

I agree! Great album. Some TNT albums have a few duds but pretty much every song on Realized Fantasies is good. The only song I think is out of place on Intuition is "End of the Line." The rest of the album is solid IMHO.

Back to the original point Justin G had: I have never had the chance to see TNT and would love to see them at PP. Good suggestion.

I love all the Tony Harnell fronted TNT albums.....probably my favorite being My Religion....then Realized Fantasies, Intuition, Tell No Tales, Transistor, KOTNT, then All The Way to the Sun. To me, the Tony Mills stuff was really kinda blah.....A Farewell to Arms, I thought was pretty decent though.
