Haven't posted anything in a while and thought a few people might get a kick out of this lol.

Clean intro is sampled from recording since I really threw this together fast.
Drums are Addictive Drums with Slate Kick 10 and Snare 2Z1. Guitar is a Fender Telecaster Deluxe with stock humbuckers. Ran through Digidesign Eleven plugin in Pro Tools HD.

Did my Howard Jones vocal impression with Beta SM57 handheld.

lol Thx My friends and I always got a good laugh when I did the Howard vocal mockeries. Was fun throwing that together.

vocals are good.

but the production is pumping as hell !!

And for the guitar riffs, it's not 100% faithful to the original riffing.

But vocals are good, it seems that it's an imitation of Howard Jones lol

Most of what I can hear is the ridiculous upper mids and treble of the guitar
Would have been much more listenable if the guitars actually sounded good

Thats all good. It was more for fun. I spent a whole hour doing this. Never played the song before and didnt bother looking up tabs so. Just looked up the lyrics. And I never use guitar amp plugins on recordings. Plus the toms have horrible low end that I should have EQ'd out. Thats where most of the pumping came on certain sections. Its a general mess but it was fun making it.

Yes, it's noticable that you let your focus on the vocals for the fun, and it's well done.
