I've meant for a while to spend some time with that album... Tim Calvert (from Forbidden) helped write some of it I believe and I love his composition skills...

Oh dude, you have no idea what you're missing. Once you get over the fact that Warrel Dane has a strange voice, the album is MIND BLOWING. Sad, energetic, powerful, aggressive yet soothing at times..... A masterpiece to say the least. Are ALL Nevermore's albums like this?!?!

Personally, yes. Warrel has an amazing voice. And the switch down to seven string only makes them better

Eaten Back To Life - Well, Cannibal Corpse... Is actually awezome... Don't like the gory covers though... This one might not be the worst ever, but some of them just...

I'm not a fan of gory covers, or lyrics for that matter. I think it's just way too over-done and unoriginal. Doesn't make for a good cover, and is kinda lame in my opinion. But whatever fits your tits!

By the way Metallic, good man for trying out Mastodon again. Glad you enjoyed them more this time around. Try out Leviathan and Remission next if you haven't already! Quality stuff.
