New Wintersun album on first place? No wonder I lost interest in metal, when an album, which cant decide if it wants to be soft black metal or gay melodic metal is number 1.

It's early December, so I wouldn't expect anyone outside of music critics to have their year-end lists done, but any particular highlights from the latter six months of the year?

Perhaps due to some initial disappointment in the releases I had high hopes for, I think I listened to far more podcasts than music this year. That said, I'm looking forward to the barrage of "Top [whatever] Albums of 2017" to find the gems I missed.

Highlights from this year:

Persona 5 OST
Nier: Automata OST
Attack on Titan season 2 OST

Good year for soundtracks, bad year for metal it seems. Witherscape dissapointed, Amon Amarth dissapointed, Wintersun dissapointed, dont remember it Opeth is 2017, but it also dissapointed, Entrails ehh, ill give it another go, fine, but i dislike mix hard.

Witherscape dissapointed

Witherscape was mid-2016 bruh. Also far from disappointing, even if not as good as the first album.

That was early 2016. Have you time-skipped 1 year by any chance?

Holy shit youre right. Damn, that's scary
