Hey guys, did a cover of one of my all time favourite songs
Guitars and Bass played by myself, Keys done by Plisken from this forum
Vocals done by my bandmate Gerd Eisenlauer

Sorry but i lost the DI of the Solo, so i exported the raw Soloreamp.
All other guitars and Bass are DI tracks!

not bad but the keys are pushing away the guitars when they start and Bass guitar is a bit rumbling.

Yeah I think its the compressor I have on thats doing that. I made the guitars wider to make more room for the keys to fit.

Now that I listen to the bass, yeah it is rumbling! I will change that.

What about the drums and vocals? They fine?

also look at the kick, its a bit too loud and also a bit rumbling, rest of the drumkit sounds ok for me. Overall the volumes are not are not balanced. Take more time

I like the sound of your mix, but i would do the Leadguitars louder than the Rhytms. In the Original version of Hypocrisy you can´t even hear these Rhytms..so they are just subtile added in the mix.
But good work!

After listening to Sinmix version i realized somethin went totally wrong with the export of the DI tracks...i will check this tonight and upload all files new

Got a Vox NT50 head the other day as payment for a session.
Beautiful Vox clean sound as expected but I wanted to test it for some loose sludgy stuff too.
This cover was perfect for this test.
I haven't decided if I will keep or sell the Vox.
What do you think of the sound?
