new novembre already!! fucks yes

new radiohead will be great too

Yeah...Novembre already have 10 tracks finished! Radiohead have been working on their new album for years. I have seen some of the new tracks live, and I'd say that it's quite promising. (Although...it's Radiohead. I wouldn't expect anything less.)

...the Virgin Black 3 piece should be orgasmic...

YES.

Evergrey, Dimmu (we'll see), Symphony X, Iced Earth, Hypocrisy, Nokturnal Mortum, Vital Remains, Daylight Dies, Novembre, Virgin Black (3 cds :) ), Taake (hopefully), Thrice, Amorphis, Marilyn Manson, Shadows Fall, Vintersorg, Type O Negative...and I'll think of everything else later...exciting year!

Virgin Black - Requiem
Orphaned Land - ORwarriOR
new Katatonia
new Alchemist
and hopefully new Madder Mortem

New Madder Mortem would be great! I am very impressed with that band since Desiderata. Is there any word on that?

Are Porcupine Tree going to record another this year? I don't know...but that reminded me, the new Blackfield is due next month. (Added that one to the list just now.)

There was already a thread for this.. Anyway:

Porcupine Tree - Fear Of A Blank Planet
Machine Head
Metallica
Dimmu Borgir
Daylight Dies
Type O Negative
Katatonia (if it is to come out this year...)

Ah. Good to hear about Porcupine Tree. Also, I too am interested to see what Metallica will do next. And new Type O should be interesting to hear.

Sunn O))) is releasing a 12" titled Oracle, so im looking forward to that.

And also according to Wikipedia, Drudkh has two releases this year. A 10" titled Anti-Urban and a full length, Estrangement.

I didn't realize there was going to be a new Daylight Dies.

Also...
Neurosis
EVOKEN
Minsk
Meshuggah
Katatonia if there is one, I guess the single anyway!
Funebrarum

Ah. Good to hear about Porcupine Tree. Also, I too am interested to see what Metallica will do next. And new Type O should be interesting to hear.
Have you been sitting under a rock? :) The new PT is already recorded and will be released in April.

And yes, no matter what they did with St. Anger, Metallica are a bunch of magnificent musicians with the capabilities to write supreme material and especially with Rick Rubin at the helm, I have good hopes.

On Typo, it seems they kinda rushed their last album, which was kinda weak i.m.o., to fulfill their contract with Roadrunner, so with the sky cleared I have good hopes for their new stuff as well.

Neurosis, Porcupine Tree and Blackfield. I am interested of Metallica's next step too but I'm quite pessimistic on the matter.

Oh yeah, and if the new Anathema comes out this year I'll add it onto the list. Swallow the Sun's single was such a dissapointment that I'm not very interested to hear the rest of the album but I'll give it a try. Forgotten Tomb's new album sounds quite interesting also :p
