Movie tread

Just ordered a few new films, the top two being the reason for the order, and the other two slipped in as well as I have had my eye on them for a while now.

Painted Skin

Painted Skin: The Resurrection

I have the Raid it's awesome and they are already working on a sequel. Painted Skin is good too. The Frighteners is a early Peter Jackson movie, Supernatural ghost type thing.

Yeah, I have seen The Frighteners before, but years ago. This purchase was as much about getting back into the movie, as it was with getting this particular edition of it.
The other three I have only seen the trailers of, but feel that I will love them none the less when they arrive.

I saw the last Batman film. I thought it was alright! The script was kinda crummy, but it was a lot better than your average flick. I guess expectations were too high after the second one. I wish X-Men 3: The Last Stand was 1/10th as good as the third Batman. Although that's not asking for very much.

Saw Dredd not too long ago. Very enjoyable sci-fi/action with beautiful effects and a pretty okay story compared to most action bullshit. Best action movie since Drive at least.

I wanted to like Dredd, I really did, but I feel like it was pretty boring. Lena Hedley is a great bad guy in general, though. I'm surprised she got to her 40s before finding her true acting persona (some people are just meant to be villains).

The action choreography was top fucken notch, I will say that. The acting was better than your average action film.

i love the first one so much

but it's a movie so old that i'm kinda afraid that this new one will be made by people that haven't even seen the original

me personnally, i would have just used the exact same script for the re-make with young-er & good-look-ing actors with up-dated bad-ass special-effects

like they did with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psycho_(1998_film)
but there's prolly no way in hell they did that for this Robo-Cop re-make

I on the other hand never got what was wrong with just going back and watch the original again? The only re-make I can truly think worth anything is The Thing by Carpenter...

EVERYTHING is getting re-made now
just get used to it
