Hey guys!

I've finally finished my debut EP from my new project When The Sun Burns Out

It was a totally stripped back home recording that turned out a lot better than expected! Literally just Nuendo 3, Podfarm and Superior Drummer.

There was a couple of replacements on the drums using Steven Slate Trigger, and entirely mixed by me at home!

We used a Schecter 006 Extreme, and a Fender Precision Bass for all the guitar tracks.

You can hear it at:

Feedback will be greatly appreciated! Enjoy dudes x

damn, I actually really enjoyed all of this E.P, and a free download! yeh please =) Guitar tone is very parkway drivey, what amp/can combo you use on PF

nice sounds man ! liked it .. tho mb the guitars need to be higher in the mix
the scheter guitar had stock pickups?

Cheers for the feedback dudes :)

Yeah the Schecter had stock pickups, but they seemed to do the trick. We were working to a deadline, and there was a lot I wanted to change about the mixes (like beefier guitars haha) but in the end we decided hey, it doesn't sound shite, and we can build on this. So yeah, happy in the end.

We used the Treadplate Duel with the Tube Screamer and Noise Gate attached - SM57 on axis, with the 4x12 Treadplate Cab, and 50% room ambience.
The bass was just the Pawn Shop Punk preset, totally did the trick.

Glad you all enjoyed it, spread the word!
