NLS and Decapitator on everything!!

So basically I put NLS on everything and I like what it's doing to my stereo image. Mostly using Spike.

Decapitator.. holy shet!! I must say I didn't like it at first since I didn't know how to use it properly. It seems to make everything better and the TONE for DARK and BRIGHT is the best control of this plugin. F.ex. for bass I just add the amount of gain and use the TONE to control how much low end vs high end I want... so easy. For vocals it works almost as a de-esser. Snare to make it cut better.



Oh and feedback on the mix also!!! I'm the main vocalist there and the guitarist on the right side.

sounds pretty good to me. a little to much high end in the guitars in the 3-4k region that's also making the vocals not very intelligible along with a little to much mud in the vocal low end IMO. if you fix those things i think it will be pretty sweet :]

I do agree that some of the low end on the vocal may need to be tamed but its pretty nice man!

What exactly is the decapitator?

Watch out clipping too much the snare, it can bring some artifacts and in fact, do the opposite saturation is meant for: killing snappy artifacts.
