-Mythology, fantasy, horror. Definitely the more historic or fictional themes as a mild sort of escapism from modern day to day life.
-No philosophical interests.
-Lyrics are not important, vocal style is.
-Album art is definitely fun, but a distant concern after the music.
-Don't care if I'm a rebel or not.

Well I grew long hair a while back, though I cut it short again about a year ago, and I have a few band tees. As far as mental goes, I'm a pretty fucked up individual but I'm not sure whether or not the music I listen to had anything to do with that.

I like old school horror films and some Lovecraft.

22. What metal for you represents and which words occur you to describe this music?
Dark, evil, rebellious, manly, and honest I guess. I really don't like doing this because I feel like such an asshole describing metal with stupid adjectives, haha.

12, I think. I saw some guy with an Iron Maiden shirt and thought it looked cool so I looked them up. After that I discovered everything else I listen to via Internet and my older sisters. :3

I think it was Iron Maiden's album covers that first got me into metal. I find a lot of bands have thought provoking or poetic lyrics if you pay attention. I kinda dug the "f*ck you" attitude of things like thrash as well. It's like...punk. But fast and heavy. Me gusta

I don't think it affects our behaviour that much. Sometimes music helps you realize things about yourself, but violent lyrics or whatever don't generally influence people to kill other people. And if it does, there's probably some deep seated psychological problem there that had nothing to do with the music.

Err...can't really pick a genre. Sci fi, I suppose. My favourite author is Ray Bradbury, but I also love Ursula LeGuin, Aldous Huxley, JD Salinger, JRR Tolkien and Oscar Wilde. My favourite movies are Lord of the Rings and Fight Club.

Yes I go sometimes to La Citadelle. I believe it's the only metal bar in Geneva, so we don't have a lot of choice. There is not a lot of things in Geneva. I have to go to Pratteln to see good bands played. It representes more than 3 hours of train from Geneva.
