Some drum samples for them that want 'em.

Just uploaded a bunch of homegrown drum samples. We've just upgraded our D/A kit to a Lynx Aurora 16 system and we had some Neve Portico gear on loan so we took the chance to sample a couple of kits we had in the studio.

So far I've edited and uploaded a Pearl Joey Jordison signature snare and a 24" Mapex Mars kick. We recorded stereo room ambiance of each drum as well so you can use that however you like. These samples are unprocessed. We used the Neve Portico 5012 preamp direct to the converters for the close mics and recorded at 24bit / 88.2 Khz. Cut samples are 16/44.1.

Still to come: 13" & 16" Mapex Mars toms. And a full Mapex M series kit with 22" kick & 10", 12", 14" & 16" toms. Hope you like them, watch this space.

I'll get those Mapex M samples online eventually. Been a bit busy lately and spending my limited free time editing samples doesn't make for a fun evening. I've uploaded some teaser samples of the toms though. They're fine as is, but I need to cut down the length.

it reported an error but I unzipped the files with no prob.

Hmmmm. I moved the zip to my XP comp and it still gave me an error. Strange. I've d/led the file several times.
