Ok, I've been dreading posting this thread.
I recently got my hands on an Axe FX and I love it. The guy I bought it from was kind enough to throw in a FCB 1010 MIDI foot-controller. However, I'm a bit lost when it comes to setting it up with the Axe FX so I have a couple of questions for any of you guys who may have experience with such units.
1) Can the board be set up with a patch in such a way that the pedals allow me to switch off different components of it? (e.g. if I want chorus for a part of a song and then want to remove it without having to change to a new preset on the AXE FX)?
2) Do I need to upgrade the EPROM or make any changes to the unit to enable a feature like the one above?
I'd be really thankful if someone out there could lend their expertise.
